Ruben(05.15.2012 06:1:00): Cristo, absolutely. Here's how it works: When you acivtate 2-factor auth, you install an app on your phone whose sole purpose is to generate a code. When you log into a new machine for the first time (and once every 30 days for machines you regularly use) after signing in with your password, you also enter the number generated by the app. It means that even if someone gets your email password they can't get into your account unless they also manage to steal your phone.
