AMVETS is one of the nation's foremost veterans service organizations (VSOs). It stands as a strong and influential advocate for America's veterans on important issues such as employment and training, mandatory funding for government-provided health care and other benefits to which they are entitled. AMVETS is a 501(c) 19 organization.

Teens-In-Flight is a 501(C) 3 foundation formed to support the families of our military. Through the modem of aerospace education we open the doors of opportunity. Teens-In-Flight provides flight training and aviation maintenance scholarships to those teens that have lost a parent in the Global War on Terrorism or, is the teen of a parent who was wounded in action and is disabled. Another phase of the program also focuses on selected teens that are considered "at risk" within our community by providing a positive aviation intervention experience. The program could not exist without the generous donations of our partner FourStarAero, a private aviation company that donates office space, flight instructors, and the aircraft for Teens-In-Flight students. FourStarAero is owned by father and son partners Wayne and Josh Jackson. Josh is the chief flight instructor for Teens-In-Flight. For more information, contact 386-569-5685.
