Global Economic Trends Lecture: Whats Ahead for the Global Economy-Rebound or Relapse?

Perna in a recent Webster Bank Economic Review Newsletter.  Cited as one of the top economic forecasters in the U.S. by the Wall Street Journal and Business Week, Dr. Perna is eminently qualified to discuss the current economic situation and forecast future trends when he speaks at the World Affairs Forum’s Global Economic Trends Lecture on October 29, at the Pitney Bowes World Headquarters in Stamford. Nicholas S. Perna is Managing Director of Perna Associates, which specializes in economic analysis, forecasting and strategy.  Until 1999, Dr. Perna was Chief Economist for the Fleet Financial Group, a position he also held with Shawmut Bank and Connecticut National Bank.  Prior to that he was an economist with General Electric, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the President’s Council of Economic Advisers in Washington DC.  He is a frequent guest on the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, NBC Nightly News and National Public Radio.
