Bold Spirit, a Liverpool based company has launched a three day course in Economics for business people, investors and professionals to help them understand the present economic climate and assist with placing operational business decisions in the context of the wider economy.
The course will also equip delegates with the knowledge and skills which will enable them to confidently follow economic events and judge their impact on their markets, costs, sales and revenue in order to beat the recession.
Director Dominic Farrell says, “Not since the 1930’s has a grasp of the consequences of economic policy been more important for the continued profitability of many individuals and companies.
We do not live in a vacuum and businesses, investors and individuals who understand this and use their knowledge of the impact of economic events to gain a competitive advantage through innovation and forward planning, will emerge from the recession in a strong market position.”
This comprehensive and intensive course not only looks at the micro-economic detail of individual firms including product pricing, competition, costs and revenue, but also the larger macro-economic picture in the UK using specific industries as case studies.
Farrell says, “Given the present economic environment, I believe business owners and professionals would benefit greatly from attending this course so that they can place key-decisions and future plans within an overall economic framework.”
The course takes place in Liverpool 20th -22nd February 2009 and further information can be found at http://www.understanding-economics.com
