Childs play leads to a free week of Summer Camp

Youth Art and Science Contest rewards kids for inventing animal games.

Cub Creek Science and Animal Camp announces its 2011 Youth Multimedia Arts and Science contest. The theme for this year's contest: "Animals Enrich Our World so We Should Enrich Theirs". The contest has been developed to promote curiosity guided learning and get kids involved in art and science. Students may; write an informative article about a favorite animal, create a work of art using animals as their theme or invent an enrichment activity for an animal (make a toy or game). Any student between grades 2 through 10 is eligible to participate. All entries must be received by January 15, 2011. Winners will be announced on February 15th, 2011.
