Sales increased 61 percent for Chevrolet Equinox, the Fastest-Selling Compact Crossover!
Exciting News! Criswell Chevrolet is proud to announce Chevy Equinox remains the fastest-selling compact crossover. Percentage in sales has increased to 61 in November, beating the Ford Escape as well as Toyota RAV4.
Based on the average time spent on dealer lots, consumers have made the Chevy Equinox as the fastest-selling compact crossover for the seventh month in a row.
“We don’t expect sales to slow any time soon. Almost everyone who test drives an Equinox leaves with an Equinox because of how well it drives, its interior design, and its fuel economy.” said Kerry Whelan, owner and president of Buff Whelan Chevrolet in Sterling Heights, Mich.
The 2011 Chevrolet Equinox is equipped with a standard 2.4L Ecotec engine coupled with a six-speed automatic. Cargo room for the Chevy Equinox comes with 31.4 cubic feet of storage, offering the best rear legroom in its class. Safety features include six air bags, anti-lock brakes, StabiliTrak electronic stability control and traction control.
The Chevrolet Equinox has earned several recognitions for its unique features. Those recognitions include: Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, 2011 Best Buy Award from Consumer’s Digest, and Best in Class for 2010 Ideal Vehicle Awards from Auto Pacific.
Since 2009, production capacity for the Chevrolet Equinox has increased three times by Chevrolet to meet demand for continued consumer.
