19th Miss India America to be crowned in August 2010

Tension soars as the competition wave heats up for the crowning of the much-awaited 19th Annual Miss India America 2010 beauty pageant. This will also include the Mr. and Mrs. India America 2010 beauty pageants and the Elite awards. This year will mark the 19th year of the biggest Indian beauty pageant to take place outside of India.
Executive producer, Ms. Jinnder Chohan has been successfully running the show since its inception. The pageants have received the well-deserved International media coverage all over the world. The coveted crowning will be aired in 25 countries worldwide. The event gets hotter and better every year as the celebrities present at the event travel from several continents to be a part of the show and support the charity foundation  - JAGRITI (a non-profit organization that deals with domestic violence victims and issues in the South Asian community). Many celebrities from Hollywood & Bollywood will attend the red carpet gala and 'The Elite Awards' ceremony. The Elite Awards will be honoring those in the entertainment industry that have excelled in their field and have influenced others.

Jinnder Chohaan is the CEO of South Asia Inc. where she has successfully created and produced pageants for 19 years now making her prestigious and critically acclaimed pageants the longest running South Asian pageants by a female in the world., some of her titles include: Mr. & Miss India Globe, Mr./Miss/Mrs. South Asia, Mr./Miss/Mrs. India America, Mr./Miss/Mrs. India California, etc. She was the first to create and produce a Mr. India pageant, which superseded India's version by five years. Ms. Chohan started the successful trend of Mr. India pageants, and continues to produce what is now the longest running Mr. India in the world. She created and produced the first Mrs. India pageant outside of India.
She is also a Director for the international pageants – Mr. International, Mr. Universe, Mrs. Globe, Miss Galaxy, Miss Asia, to name a few.
