CHICAGO – On September 17, 2010, Big Girl Cosmetics will open its doors to their flagship store, Big Girl Makeup Bar & Spa in the historic Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park. This ultra luxe “Big Girl” style makeup boutique features the full Big Girl Cosmetics line with makeup services, parties and lessons. This Big Girl space also features a full service spa with decadent Mani Pedi combinations, facials, waxing, lashes and Big Girl inspired spa parties. Big Girl will also feature Princess Parties for the Little Big Girl in your life.

Five years ago Big Girl Cosmetics’ owner, Kiley Russell, sat in the audience of a legendary taping of the Oprah Show where Oprah gifted her audience a Pontiac G6. The gift took the nation by storm, but Russell had a larger plan for her blessed gift. Not needing a car at the time and looking for a way to live her life differently, Russell sold the car and used the profit to start the beauty empire, Big Girl Cosmetics. “This has been a phenomenal year for Big Girl Cosmetics. I’m so glad I was able to turn a special gift from Oprah into something of valor, beauty and empowerment. Oprah is my angel” says owner and creative director Kiley Russell.
