A True Life Fairy Tale Story of Success

Bruce Goldwell rises from homeless Vietnam veteran living on the streets to International Author and is now helping raise money for charitable organizations.

Bruce Goldwell, a resident of the Treasure Coast living just south of Vero Beach, was homeless for just short of a decade.  He once held a sign on the boardwalk in Venice, California that read, "Homeless Vietnam Veteran. God bless you for your help".  He played his guitar and sang songs he wrote as well as told jokes and entertained passersby in order to earn a few dollars a day to eat.  He slept in alleys, sidewalks and occassionally on the beach where ever he felt it would be safe. A 97-year-old gentleman named Dell Grant suggested to Bruce that he write books as he felt that Goldwell had some knowledge about life that he could share with others.  Bruce didn't think at that time that he had anything out of the ordinary to share, however he did as Dell suggested and began writing his first book in 2001 at the public library. He sent his first transcript to a publisher in 2004 and it was accepted for publication. Now in August 2009, Bruce's ninth book has just been released and is available on Amazon for readers worldwide.  Bruce wrote a series of self-help books in 2007 titled, 'Mastery of Abundant Living' and he plans to add more books to this series, however this latest release is the third book of a fantasy adventure series he started in 2005 for young readers titled,  'Dragon Keepers'. Since his first book was published in 2004, Bruce has slowly but surely gained fans over the years not just in the United States but also abroad.  His books are published in Brazil as well. Just recently Bruce received the Family Guide Seal of Approval which is an Icon that has been used in billions of Wolk's Family Guide newspapers which have been published  for Ford, Chrysler, GM, McDonalds, Burger King, and Franklin Mint. Wolk's company is  responsible for the marketing for the IFPA and the Association of Weekly Newspapers in  America with 40 million readers weekly. Beryl Wolk, the Founder, is also a huge internet marketing expert which supports servces and products that he believes will help create a Better World. Bruce's books and mission fit into the Better World mission that Mr. Wolk invisions. Bruce is excited about having received Mr. Wolk's prestigious Family Guide Seal of Approval and has added  this Icon to his web site announcing to the world this newest honor. As if this fairy-tale climb to success wasn't amazing enough already, Bruce met a gentleman by the name of Jesse Epps a little over a year ago in Philidephia. Jesse was with Martin Luther King when he got shot and he spent the last few hours of Mr. King's life by his side.  Jesse has an organization called the National Union of American Families which has over 130,000 community leaders connected to over 1.3 million homes in America. Bruce is helping raise money for the NUAF through sales of his books.  Mr. Wolk and Jesse will both be helping promote Goldwell's books through their vast network of business and community connections not just in the United States but worldwide. Bruce is making himself available to bookstores along the Treasure Coast for book signings. He will also be available for local community organizations and clubs who are looking to raise funds for their organizations.
