Nominations Now Open for the Scottish Independent Retailers Awards

The Scottish Independent Retail Awards are all about local businesses for their local community. The awards look to give a platform to the local communities from which to voice their admiration and loyalty to their independent retailer of choice.

The awards will take place in The thistle Hotel Glasgow on 10th September 2010 and are a platform for the dynamic and inspirational independent retailers of Scotland to showcase their successes and achievements.
We are looking for Independent retailers and their patrons to nominate for the following categories:
+ Convenience Store of the Year
+ Newsagent/Grocer of the Year
+ Off Sales of the Year
+ Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year
+ Hair & Beauty Retailer of the Year
+ Fashion Retailer of the Year
+ Accessories Retailer of the Year (inc. shoes, bags, jewellery)
+ Technology Retailer of the Year (inc. printers, mobile phone shops, electrical goods)
+ Book/Stationery Retailer of the Year
+ Service Provider of the Year (inc. travel agents, business services)
+ Health & Lifestyle Retailer of the Year
+ Eatery of the Year (inc. cafes, restaurants)
Independent retailers range from the cubby-holes with oodles of wonder spilling over the brim to the palatial boutiques oozing charismatic shopping allure.

Nominees – you know who you are… you are independent… you have no more than three stores in your chain… you are about to be showcased…
