The month of July is coming to an end and NFL teams are gearing up for the 2009 season. There are still many questions heading into this season like where will Brett Favre and Michael Vick end up. This year’s MVP race figures to be a competitive one with Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady coming back. Stay tuned to http://www.sportsbetting.ws for the latest. Here are the latest odds for this year’s MVP trophy:
Ben Roethlisberger 9-1 Roethlisberger is one of the most winningest Quarterbacks over the last several season and already has two Super Bowl rings under his belt, however, with the dark cloud of rape allegations hovering over his head and the lack of big time stats, he isn’t really a favorite this year.
Adrian Peterson 6-1 With LaDainian Tomlinson’s hall of fame career beginning to slow down, Adrian peterson has been passed the torch of being the NFL’s best running back. Expect him to come close to 2,000 yards rushing this year, especially if Brett Favre joins the Vikings. Excellent bet at 6-1
Tom Brady 4-1 If Tom Brady is indeed 100$ recovered from last year’s devastating knee injury in week 1 then theres no reason he shouldn’t be in the top three in the MVP voting. He still has a top ranked defense, as well as Randy Moss and Wes Welker to throw to. Safe pick at 4-1
Larry Fitzgerald 14-1 Larry really came into his own last year down the stretch with some big time performances while leading the Cardinals to the Super Bowl. Expect big things again this year with Kurt warner returning. MAy have bumped Terrell Owens and Randy Moss for the title of NFL’s best receiver but I don’t see him winning the MVP this year.
Randy Moss 16-1 No one will benefit from Tom Brady’s return more than Randy Moss. He will contiunue his dominance and put up big numbers with Brady but like Fitzgerald, he’s a longshot to win the MVP.
