Brunswick, GA – Brunswick’s own, Author/Speaker/Consultant, Alvin “Sharell” Perry is returning to his roots on October 16 & 17 to reveal his series of educational books, The Critical Zone (CZ). This premier tour will consist of a Book Signing Event at Glynn Place Mall and motivational speaking workshops at four of Glynn County’s finest—Jane Macon Middle, Risley Early College Academy, Brunswick High School, and College of Coastal Georgia. A man on a mission with a background of strategic planning to prove it, his vision is to break the vicious cycle of kids and young adults getting sidetracked by the negative holds of life such as the lack of direction, preparation and purpose.
“The CZ series is the power drill in the tool box, that wasn’t there before,” states Mr. Perry. “This preventative maintenance resource for achievement is a one of a kind program that takes kids from middle school through three years post-college.”
The CZ series is a fresh new approach to a disparaging phenomenon—adolescents lacking motivation within educational and social environments due to boredom and peer pressure. Composed of four titles, the series prepares students and young professionals with a simple step-by-step formula for success in school and beyond. “It is essential to reach kids ‘before’ they get sucked into those critical zones prior to young adulthood that are known for preventing them from establishing a solid foundation to build upon for career success,” says Perry. “I have zeroed in on those life stages by developing a solid, practical series for success which incorporates developing a Personal Strategic Plan (PSP).”
The Principal of Jane Macon Middle School, Mr. Scott Spence says, “I am extremely proud to be a supporter and participant of this innovative program which is being implemented at my school. The Critical Zone is the first educational tool that I have seen on the market that helps our youth develop the strategic planning skills necessary to successfully move into the high school setting. In addition, the Critical Zone provides high school students with a similar strategic plan to enter college or the workplace after graduation.”

Currently, the program is being piloted in select middle schools, high schools and colleges across the country.
Alvin S. Perry created the Critical Zone series of books, workbooks and online training programs to assist kids and young adults through the various developmental stages associated with middle school, high school, college and upon entering the work force. The complete series of training tools are designed to provide concise principles for developing a Personal Strategic Plan (PSP) for CAREER SUCCESS! Perry believes this information will prove invaluable to others seeking both career and life fulfillment.
