Songwriter to release debut showcase EP. Upcoming British songwriter Cara Jane Spencer is currently processing recordings for her latest EP album. The album features a variety of songs aimed for the commercial pop industry and will be available from the 15th June 2009. It is hoped that the album will showcase her songwriting talent and will be used as a platform to launch her writing career. Cara stated that the recording process was ‘very stressful’ but that she was ‘very grateful for all musicians involved in the process. They were all brilliant!’ Many of the instrumentalists that feature on the album were selected from the same music department where Cara currently reads music - The University of York. She will be graduating this July to pursue a full time career in songwriting.
