VENTURA, CALIF.--The Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Ventura County has announced the addition of three new board members, recently appointed by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors.    Joining the board for two-year terms are Talia Barrera, director of career services, ITT Technical Institute in Oxnard, Capt. Antonio Edmonds, chief staff officer, Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) and Jim Faul, vice president and branch office manager, Huitt-Zollars, Inc. in Westlake Village.    "WIB, local employers and our county's workforce will be well served with the addition of these distinguished new board members," says Steve Kinney, president, Economic Development Corporation of Oxnard and WIB chair. "It's always gratifying to see leaders in business volunteer their time to build the economic vitality of our region and strengthen the employer/worker foundation in the county."    "With the economy still struggling and unemployment at almost 11 percent in Ventura County, the WIB is dedicated to providing the tools needed to increase the skills and marketability of our workforce," says Cheryl Moore, executive director of the Ventura County WIB. "We look forward to Talia Barrera's contributions in the areas of worker education and training. Jim Faul's experience in engineering architecture and construction management will provide an employer’s perspective. Captain Edmond’s participation is keeping with the Navy's commitment to develop and maintain a capable and productive civilian workforce. The new board members' collective expertise and knowledge will be valuable assets to WIB."    Members of the WIB include leaders from the business sector, economic development, education, labor, government and community-based organizations. Felix(05.14.2012 14:1:57): Welcome to MOSQUE, the Ministry Of Silly QUEstions. We are here to serve. The problem that exsits for you is that you 1- want to find a good Japanese curry restaurant in the two cities that you designated, and more importantly, and what makes your question silly, is that you 2- expect people on this forum to be able to help you. WHY do you think that a forum that deals with traveling in Japan should have specific knowledge to meet your needs? In keeping with the question/answer format, we suggest the Yellow Pages. Open it up and try to find a restaurant that you feel would suit your needs. You can also try Google, for as Samson likes to point out, Google is your friend. But it is the best guess of those of us at the Ministry that you have a high likelihood of simply being out of luck. If you had been traveling to Japan and wish to try Japanese curry, the answer would have been anywhere'. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, you are not traveling to Japan. We at the Ministry hope we have been of assistance.
