The Sunday night football betting match-up this week highlights the past two NFC champions as the Arizona Cardinals (3-2 SU, 3-2 ATS) take on the New York Giants (5-1 SU, 4-1-1 ATS) in the Meadowlands. Arizona is coming off of a dominating 27-3 football gambling win against division rival Seattle that put them back atop the NFC West. Meanwhile, the Giants suffered a humiliating 48-27 NFL wagering loss at the hands of the Saints that left many questioning just how good the Giants really are after wins over mostly toothless opponents in their first five games. Arizona jumped out to a quick 17-0 lead against the Seahawks in Qwest Field en route to putting away the Seahawks last Sunday. Quarterback Kurt Warner was extremely efficient in completing 32 of 41 passes for 276 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Arizona betting fans in the win. He hooked up early and often with the player many consider the best receiver in the league, Pro Bowl WR Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald caught 13 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown for the victorious Cardinals on the day. Unsung WR Steve Breaston also was a big contributor, catching seven passes for 77 yards and a score for Arizona. However, it wasn't all good news on offense, as the Cardinal running game continued to struggle with Chris Wells and Tim Hightower combining for only 61 carries on 25 carries. New York wasn't as fortunate as Arizona last week, getting torched by Drew Brees and the Saints offense for almost 500 yards and seven touchdowns in their football wagering defeat. Quarterback Eli Manning was not at his best in his team's defeat, completing only 14 of 31 passes for 178 yards with a touchdown and an interception while also losing a fumble. Young wide-outs Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham had good days at least with Nicks catching five passes for 114 yards and a touchdown and Manningham snagging four balls for 50 yards and a touchdown. Running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs did well also despite being down almost all of the game, combining to carry the ball 17 times for 81 yards and a touchdown. Sports gambling odds show the Giants as a seven point favorite in this game with a total of 46 points. In their last nine home games, the Giants are 6-2-1 ATS.
