Photographer Backs Earth Hour 2009

Moon Rock photographer Terilouise Warke has pledged to turn off the lights for one hour to participate in Earth hour 2009.

Moon Rock photographer Terilouise Warke has pledged to participate in tonight’s global Earth Hour. An event being held around the world with millions of home and businesses switching off their lights for one hour between 8:30pm and 9:30pm. The event is hoping to get 1 billion people to switch off their lights and vote earth. The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes for Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.   Terilouise wrote on her blog: We will be taking part, it doesn't take much effort all you have to do is switch off your lights for one hour. Instead try lighting your rooms with candlelight, it creates a cosy atmosphere and can be fun, especially if you use scented candles.   Terilouise is also a strong supporter of the global cool website which offers useful practical advise on the small changes you can make to help stop global warming.
