A British artist has come up with a strange twist to the current Global Mess.
Geoff Bunn, who has lived and worked in France and the UK is now based in Sweden. And his latest project is aimed at making money for charity - and gives a humours twist to the current global financial crisis.
The basic idea is to collect together any items which "have lost their value due to the recession" and put them all together into "one large mess". This piece, construction of which has begun, will then be offered to the highest bidder. But with all funds from the sale going to charity.
A nice idea.
But it doesnt stop there. The project is interactive. Bunn needs - indeed is encouraging - people to send items in to the project. So, as it says on the project page, if you are about to lose the shirt off your back, now you know where to send it.
