Rjenda Users Can Now Import Events From Other Calendars Applications

Rjenda users, who could export events to external calendar applications for a while now, can now Import events from other calendars applications as well.

Rjenda is an online software solution designed to schedule, coordinate, and analyze activities for school classes, teams, clubs, troops, committees, work groups, and family and friend circles. Our users use many different calendaring applications and have asked us to integrate (via both import and export) with then. While, Rjenda has been able to export all personal and group calendars events to external calendar applications for a some time now, we have now added the functionality that will allow our users to import events from external calendars as well. Calendar import, in Rjenda, can be done in one of two ways: 1. A onetime import of events from .ics file – This is for users who were using another calendar application to manage their events and activities and now plan to use Rjenda to do the same. In such a case, users can now import all the events from the external calendar into a personal or group calendar in Rjenda. 2. Link to an external calendar via a URL – Many users are already using another calendar application to manage some of their events and activities (for example work events, sports activities, etc). Since Rjenda gives users the ability analyze and aggregate all their events across all their groups, users can now create a calendar that is linked to another external calendar application like Google, Outlook, etc. These events will display in Rjenda, display in the color of your choice, show in upcoming activities and more. Here again, users can import from any calendar application that supports the ICAL standard.
