Tax Haven to Declare War on Canada
The citizens of the Repulic of Titulia are debating a recent proposal to declare war on Canada.
An unexpected proposal to declare war on Canada has stirred up the normally peaceful political life of the popular tax haven, The Republic of Titulia.
The proposal has initially received surprising levels of popular support, to the extent that the president of the republic herself had to remind citizens in an emergency statement that the country did not actually have an army. In spite of this warning, many citizens still support the idea.
Due to the political system of the country based on direct citizen participation in decisions, the proposition might still be accepted, in which case the president will be forced to act accordingly.
