Girlfriends' Reggie Hayes joins judging panel at the Sunday, June 21st Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” national talent showcase competition

Actor Reggie Hayes joins the judges panel at the Sunday, June 21st Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” (ULMII) entertainment conference’s national talent competition showcase. The, free admission, talent competition will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center (West Hall-409A) from2 05 – 7 p.m. Reggie is best known in his role as William Dent on the CW network award winning series Girlfriends.   Hayes was born in Chicago and his roots in acting started in theatre and propelled into on-screen acting roles in films such as in Charlie’s Angels; A Family Thing with James Earl Jones and Robert Duvall; Hell Cab, and Being John Malkovich. His most notable role is that of William Dent in Girlfriends. That role earned him three NAACP Image Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He also guest starred on Will and Grace as a doctor. Hayes appeared in the remake of The Twilight Zone, hosted by Forest Whitaker, in the “The Eye of the Beholder” episode as a doctor . He has also had guest roles in Party of Five, Pretender, Married with Children, Then Came You, Something So Right, Space: Above and Beyond, and Roswel l.
