Thai Airways launch direct flights from Phuket to Hong Kong
Thai Airways International have announced the launch of direct flights between Phuket and Hong Kong starting from 25th October 2009.
The new route will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, utilising Airbus 330-300 aircraft with a seat capacity of 305 seats (42 in Royal Silk Class and 263 in Economy Class).
Flights will leave Phuket at 13:15 and arrive in Hong Kong at 17:45. The return jouney departs from Hong Kong at 08:00 and arrives in Phuket at 10:20.
The new route from Thai Airways will be a welcome addition for Hong Kong expats many of whom have second homes on the island of Phuket.
