Bold Sunlight To Cure The Winter Blues

Snejana Videlova from Park Ridge will display more than 20 oil and acrylic paintings at the Hillsdale Public Library in January (Jan 3rd - Jan 30th). An opening reception will be held on Sunday, January 9th from 1 PM to 4 PM. Paintings are available for sale, and percentage of all sales will benefit the library.

Bold color palette, texture and layering experiments are typical for her works. The paintings are landscape and still life, mostly floral. They show the artist’s inspiration drawn from nature and her experimenting with different point of view, light, and techniques. Born in Bulgaria and living in Bergen County, her diverse background is reflected in her works, which uniquely blend traditional and impressionistic styles.

Snejana Videlova is an active member of the Pascack Art Association and Allied Artists of America. Her paintings have been shown in exhibitions at the Art School of Old Church, the Art Center of Northern New Jersey, among others.
