Fogging Index Test Instrument
Fogging test is one of the important test item
Fogging index test instrument is applicable in fogging index test of automotives' interior decoration materials, like PVC, textile, nonwoven, and etc, that will volatilize under higher temperature. And fogging index test instrument can be used to test the fogging of the xenon lights. Fogging index test instrument conforms to standards of ISO 6452, DIN 75201 and SAE J1756.
Fogging test is one of the important test item. The so-called fogging means: when the automotive interior materials are heated, volatilizable components evaporate and congeal on the windscreen, which looks like being covered by a light scattering film (fog).
Automotive interior material's fogging will interfere the sight through windscreen, and influence the safe driving under the unfavorable light condition. Meanwhile, because condensation component is mostly harmful organic volatile matter, the fogging performance also reflect the harmfulness of the organic volatile matter in the automotive interior materials.
