Christmas is only seven weeks away and sooner or later you’re going to have to tackle the Christmas shopping.

But it needn’t be a chore... why not pay a visit to Rand Farm Park’s annual Christmas Open Evening this month for some great Christmas gift ideas?

By popular demand the farm shop and gift shop at Rand Farm Park will be open from 6pm until 9pm on Wednesday 17th November, offering visitors the chance to sample some mouth-watering food and browse the wide selection of toys and gifts.

Following the popularity of the first open evening last year owners Richard and Kay Waring had no hesitation in repeating the event this year.

“Our first ever Christmas Open Evening in 2009 was a huge success which exceeded our expectations,” said Kay.

“All our customers told us they really enjoyed it and so we had no hesitation in organising an even bigger and better open evening this year.

“Families with children love visiting Rand Farm Park as there’s always lots for the youngsters to do, but mums and dads can’t always find the time to browse round the farm shop or the gift shop during their visit,” Kay explained.

“That’s why we’ve organised this special open evening. Last year it was a really sociable event –
everyone enjoyed the refreshments and the chance do some Christmas shopping without having to keep an eye on the children.”

From pickles, preserves and mince pies to luxury chocolates and delicious biscuits, the farm shop sells everything you could possibly need for a memorable Christmas.

During the open evening there will be free tastings and plenty of opportunities for customers to ‘try before they buy’.

Orders are now being taken for Rand Farm Park’s famous festive hampers which can be collected right up until Christmas Eve.

Not only does the farm shop offer a wide range of tasty treats, Rand Farm Park also has a well stocked toy and gift shop which is an Aladdin’s cave of Christmas delights!

All the toys and gifts on sale would make ideal Christmas presents and there are lots of inexpensive stocking fillers to choose from too.

“At our open evening we will be offering all our visitors a special 25% discount off all Playmobil, Lego, Orchard Toys and WOW toys if they buy on the night, so a visit to our Christmas Open Evening will help families to save pennies this Christmas too!” said Kay.
