COCO KATO is launched highly innovative yet very wearable jewellery collection on Sep 2009 London Fashion Week in Covent Garden. Drury Petite Salon~ jewellery showroom~ 19th Sep to 21st Sep at Hayato NY, along with four other London based up and coming jewellery designers. COCO KATO has been reinventing classic of Pearl necklace new and amazing ways, COCO KATO's one of the 2010SS collection, “WISH” using silver fibre made with layer of 99,9% pure silver, which is permanently bonded to the surface of a textile fibre. It has been used primarily as an industrial and medical product, servicing high-tech industries and the Department of Defence. Designer Ikuko wanted to approach to user “WISH” collection as a new protection / healing jewellery along with the common healing property of stone. More recently silver fibre has been used in consumer product markets as a result of the need for a safe, natural and effective antimicrobial solution. This collection is totally unique, the yarn has not been used for jewellery yet. Her new and different approach as a jewellery Designer reflect her background of fashion. WISH ~Silver fibre collection~ combine with precious stones include rough diamond, emerald, and ruby. Items are Ring, Bracelet and necklace.
