KidSanctuary Campus is planning several fundraising events in the next few months, the first event will be our Inaugural Luncheon and Fashion Show held at The Frankino Ibis Golf and Country Club on November 20th 2009 featuring the design of New York Couture Designer b michael. Our Grand Corporate Sponsor TIFFANY & Co, Media Partner Palm Beach Scene, Retail Partner John De Medeiros International of Palm Beach KidSanctuary Campus, is a charitable organization in Palm Beach County committed to assisting children who have been removed from their homes because of neglect and abuse and whose physical, developmental and emotional disabilities make it impossible for them to be placed in traditional foster homes. We are building a five acre residential facility providing 24-hour care and housing for these children until safe and loving homes can be found. Palm Beach County has already donated the land for this project and we are currently in the midst of a Capital Campaign to raise the necessary funds for construction The KidSanctuary Campus will be an important step in helping alleviate some of the suffering these children experience on a daily basis. It will make a real difference in their lives. Ground breaking is scheduled to begin in 2009, but we need your help. Every dollar counts and puts us one step closer to making this much needed facility a reality. Won’t you please consider helping us to help these unfortunate children who now have such bleak futures and so little hope? Your support is vital. The architectural plans that have been completed and approved call for the complex to have perimeter fencing with a secured entrance, a large playground with a splash pad and a parking lot. The 7,000 square foot, two-story therapy, recreation and education building will include therapy rooms, a large meeting room, tutoring spaces, family visitation rooms, a nursing office, staff offices, storage space and a small apartment for off-duty house parents. The children will always be under the watchful supervision of someone from or appointed by the State of Florida’s Department of Children and Families who will reside on the premises. We believe, along with those who are joining us on this project, that it is a privilege to be fortunate enough to change someone’s life for the better. The Board of Directors, headed by Connie Frankino, is a dedicated and highly active board totally committed to achieving the goal of making this dream a reality. The children and Palm Beach County desperately need this facility and KidSanctuary Campus, Inc., with the help of its friends and the generosity of its supporters, will make it happen.
