Long Island personal trainer, Tony DiCostanzo of Dreambodies Inc. ( www.Dreambodies.net ) recently spoke to a room filled with eager figure competition model hopefuls at a figure competition preparation symposium held in Farmingdale, NY.

Recently, Tony spoke at a figure competition prep symposium held in Farmingdale, NY where he shared some the ins and outs of figure competition preparation.

"This is a growing sport with a very loyal, dedicated following. What most people do not know is that many of the women competing are soccer moms and hard working women who maintain a very busy schedule while trying to chase their dreams of stepping on stage in hopes of looking like a cover girl. It can be one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences and most of the ladies we train always want to continue after they compete in their first show. Once they get bitten, they love it."

Some of the highlights of the seminar took place when Tony shared the importance of conditioning the mind and not only the body. The symposium included eveything from posing and tanning to special fat melting exercise techniques.
