The results are in! Chris Leben, a MMA superstar from the original group of fighters of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) was defeated in a brutal fashion when he lost to Brian Stann, the former WEC Light heavy weight champion.

Stann began his career in MMA in 2007 while he was still considered active with the military. In early 2008, he went on to defeat Doug Marshall to become the WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting) champion champion, and held that title until August when he lost to Steve Cantwell. When the UFC took over the WEC, he went on to lose his first fight. He recovered but had a rocky start. His record moved to 2 wins with 2 losses within the UFC (prior to having a 6-1 record in the WEC).

The latest and greatest fight against Chris Leben occurred last night when he won via a TKO, referee stoppage within the first round. His current record is now 10 wins (7 by knockout, 1 by submission, and 2 by decision) and 3 losses (1 by knockout, 1 by submission and 1 by decision). He is currently training under the watchful eye of one of the best Mixed Martial arts teachers around, Greg Jackson current trainer to many stars including George St. Pierre, Keith Jardine, Rashad Evans, Clay Guida, etc.

This win for Stann opens many windows and doors for him, and Dana White and the UFC has taken notice to him more so now than ever, as a win over the crippler in this fashion was very impressive.
