Georgias Camp Blood Expands 2008 Halloween Operations

Camp Blood begins their Thursday thru Saturday operating dates this week.

Georgia’s haunted house fans are excited to learn that Camp Blood begins their Thursday thru Saturday operating dates this week.  In its 18th season, Camp Blood expects a high turnout despite the gas crunch in the southeast. “Now that we’re offering online ticketing,” says Camp Blood’s Founder and Administrator Mark Atcheson, “it’s a great time to begin the expanded days and hours.” Camp Blood and Mabel's Bled & Breakfast are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights beginning October 2nd thru October 27th. The haunt is also open October 29th, 30th and 31st AND November 1st. The frights begin at 9pm and the haunt closes weeknights at 11pm and Fridays and Saturdays at midnight. Billed as a quarter mile of sheer terror as visitors walk (and indeed run) through the sometimes silent, yet deadly pine forest, Camp Blood is very unlike the standard walk and stumble attractions.  Camp Blood’s guides take groups of visitors on a swamp tour where they find themselves walking, stopping, screaming, jumping, running, and cowering as they attempt to keep up with the sneaky guides and dodge the monsters. Camp Blood offers a Thursday Night Special where visitors can bring 3 cans of food for the Manna House Ministries Food Pantry to get free admission to Mabel’s Bled and Breakfast (after paying to enter Camp Blood). For more information, visit Camp Blood on the web at http://www.campblood.com.
