Winner of IAAPA’s Best New Product Award, LAZER FRENZY™ has been a popular choice for family entertainment centers across the country as well as internationally. This arcade-style attraction combines the exhilarating, high-tech excitement of interactive lasers with LED technology that literally gets the player inside the game. Fitting into a space as little as 200 square feet, players will find themselves inside a glowing blacklight environment with brightly colored laser beams shooting across the room creating a web of lasers. “It’s a low-cost attraction to install yet it offers high excitement for guests and great revenue potential for our clients which is exactly what entertainment venues are looking for in today’s economy,” says Jeff Schilling, founder of Creative Works Theme Factory.
A new option to the award winning LAZER FRENZY™ game is the “Dueling Maze” package which creates competition for guests and involves the entire group. It includes two mazes that are set up side by side and a viewing room for double the action and excitement. The amusement park Six Flags Great America in Jackson, New Jersey added the LAZER FRENZY™ Dueling Maze this year to add a unique experience for guests visiting the park’s arcade. It’s similar to the “two person” mode on a video game. Each maze can run independently, but when the dueling option is selected, two players go through the lazer maze at the same time. The player with the best score wins the game. To encourage participation, there is a built in viewing room for crowds to see into both mazes as well as windows between the two mazes so each player can size up his or her competitor. It’s been a huge success and continues to get repeat play due to the competition it encourages. Six Flags had the “Dueling Frenzy” for their 2010 park season and saw great revenue streams from this unique gaming experience. “We were thrilled with the results we saw from the Lazer Frenzy dueling maze,” said Mark Kane, President of the Six Flags New Jersey properties. “We anticipate another great year in 2011 with Lazer Frenzy.”
