Corporate hospitality sounds very glamorous but often it isn’t. Average entertainment, average food, average wine and memories which fade as fast as the hangover. Spain-based Offshore Quest has taken this corporate hospitality mould and smashed it to pieces. They’ll invite you to swap your power suit for a powerboat and take you on a high-speed adrenalin-fuelled mission from Spain to Gibraltar to Africa - courtesy of the Hustler 388 Slingshot.
Operating out of Sotogrande Marina, Offshore Quest has created a centre of excellence for powerboats in the Mediterranean and delivers ‘intelligent participative hospitality’ for a discerning clientele. From a hands-on half day introduction to powerboating through to a week-long premium activity programme on the water, the golf course, race track and even the polo field – Offshore Quest has a bespoke lifestyle experience to suit all.
The highly popular full day ‘Offshore Quest’ is the crème de la crème of corporate hospitality combining teambuilding and problem solving with a competitive element. The sleek, technologically advanced and fast - up to 90mph – Hustler 388 Slingshot is your mode of transport. With a capacity for four people per charter, the thrill of running powerboats side-by-side is unbeatable.
The Quest begins at breakfast where guests are presented with a map of the greater Sotogrande area with tasks, clues and specific locations marked out. Armed with a Sony digital and movie camera, teams will then take directly to the water and inform their attached powerboat pilot how they intend to fulfil their objectives and complete the Quest. Debriefing, prize-giving, luxury car transfer, five-star hotel accommodation and a pack of ‘essentials’ from lightweight jackets to sunscreen and goggles all form part of the Offshore Quest package. This truly pushes the envelope for hospitality.
For longer stays Offshore Quest has established an Alliance of key partnerships to include Ascari Race Resort, Santa Maria Polo Club, Ocean Sky Private Aviation, NH Hotels Group, Valderrama Golf and True Blue Marine Charters in order to deliver a complete portfolio of experiences, transfers and accommodation. VIP access will also be given to beach clubs, restaurants and shopping at Blue Sotogrande.
Time spent with Offshore Quest is anything but average. Whether you’re slicing through the waves or going full chat in a Formula One car at Spain’s longest private race circuit, the magic memories will never fade.
