TFCN, the federal contractor network, continues to conduct its weekly polls focusing on issues affecting federal contractors. The latest poll tackles the perception contractors have when it comes to comparing their performance to that of their government colleagues. This poll was inspired by the recent Office of Management and Budget (OMB) assertion that the best way to increase government's productivity and to save taxpayer money is to reverse the process of outsourcing services to federal contractors. Naturally, federal contractors disagreed and that was reflected in the poll. The question was simple, "who performs better?". Poll participants had three options on how to answer this question. 1) government contractors, 2) government employees and 3) no major difference in performance. 77% of TFCN members feel that contractors do a better job, only 5% gave the nod to government employees and 18% did not see much difference in performance. As you can imagine there were some interesting comments and opinions offered on the subject. To read them and to offer your take you mat visit TFCN at http://tfcn.us/forum
