BEIJING, China - Chine guitar-maker Myaxe Musical Instruments has shifted to using Grover machine heads for a more stable tune, the company announced.
"In the past, we used a Korean-made tuners but we found Grovers to be more stable," Haoxiao, Myaxe's quality control manager, said.
With the use of grover tuners, Myaxe also started to offer new hardware color for its Shredder model. Aside from the gold hardware, Shredder models can now be bought with entirely chrome hardware.
Haoxiao said the use of chrome hardware provides another choice for guitar players, who want the look of a traditional Les Paul.
Another improvement that the company introduced is the use of a special steel formula for its bridges and saddles that also added sustain, already delivered by the advance tone generator system.
"One has to understand how guitarists want their instruments to sound like. That is what we have been doing since our launch in July," Haoxiao said.
At the company's website, http://www.myaxeonline.com, those who are still doubting what Myaxe guitars can contribute to their music can already download soundbytes on how the guitars actually sound like.
Haoxiao said the company knows that because guitar players needed to hear how the instrument sounds like before they decide to buy, Myaxe strove hard to upload soundbytes, which potential buyers can listen to.
