Sony Ericssons first Android smartphone, the Xperia X3 Rachael, might be released in January next year, according to the latest rumors. Although this isnt officially confirmed, MobileCrunch says that theres a good chance for the X3 to be indeed launched in the first month of 2010. And according to online retailer Expansys which published the details of the smartphone, the device will have    * a 4-inch 800×400 pixels touchscreen display (although we expect that to change slightly as a 2:1 ratio ain’t ideal).    * also support HSDPA/HSUPA    * and sport a 8-megapixel camera with 8x zoom and autofocus    * likely to be the one found on the W995 – Assisted GPS,    * WiFi support    * and what Expansys describes as an innovative 3D panel interface. Unlike the recently announced Xperia X2 (which is based on Windows Mobile 6.5), the Xperia X3 does not have a hardware QWERTY keyboard. Seems like Sony Ericsson wants to cover all the OS bases this January. Besides the WM6.5-toting X2 that is set for a January 2010 release, MobileCrunch now reveals that the X2 successor, X3, will hit the streets at about the same time, SEs first device with Android under the hood. http://www.gadgettechinfo.com/2009/09/24/sony-ericsson-x ...
