NEOLIFE MEDICAL CENTER OPENS ITS DOORS
Bozlu Group will operate the oncology treatment center owned by the Turkish Foundation for Fight Against Cancer under a new name; Neolife Medical Center. The center entails investment totalling to 15 million euros.
Neolife commenced to provide services as a full-equipped reference medical center for cancer diagnosis and treatment with radiotherapy, radiology and nuclear medicine imaging units, 35 chemotherapy units, polyclinic rooms, emergency room and a conference hall.
The center, which has been completely renewed on a surface area of 3.500 square meters has been repoened following investment of 15 million euros. The center employs 74 people and will serve patients with its many outpatient clinics in addition to specialized cancer diagnosis and treatment modalities.
Prominent in the health sector with their investments, Dr. Şükrü Bozluolçay, the Chairman of the Board of Bozlu Group, stated that cancer is spreading rapidly all over the country, saying “There are about 200 hospitals in Istanbul, we saw that there was a need for an oncology centre which operates without being bound by a hospital, independently with a high level of technology and expert physicians. We opened Neolife in cooperation with TKSV, Turkish Foundation for Fight Against Cancer, which is a very successful organization in the fight against cancer”. Prof. Dr. Metin Ertem, the president of TKSV, has said “We have been fighting cancer for 30 years with considerable success. We aim to combine the respect and experience we achieved in years with the high level of technology equipment of Neolife, and the doctors and healthcare professionals who have proved their success in international platforms to intensify our fight against cancer”.
Neolife is a fully-equipped centre located in a completely renewed five-story building with a surface area of 3.500 square meters with radiotherapy, radiology and nuclear medical imaging units, 35 chemotherapy units, polyclinic rooms, emergency rooms, rooms for patients and a conference hall. Breast, colon and rectum cancer, cervix, lung, head and cervical cancer, brain and larynx tumors, liver cancer, bone tumors, uterus, stomach, pancreas, prostate, ovarium and skin cancers will be treated in the centre.
New generation high quality TrueBeam technology in radiotherapy provides services for the first time and only in Neolife in Turkey. Neolife has concluded agreements with insurance companies.
