In 1979, he then joined Johnson & Higgins (J & H), where he eventually became one of 24 individual owners of the firm. During his tenure, J & H was the largest insurance broker and employee benefits consulting company in the world. Steven Shulman is the operating partner at Water Street Healthcare Partners and Tower Three Partners. He is also Chairman and former CEO of Magellan Health Services, where he successfully brought the company back from bankruptcy and increased shareholders equity over tenfold – from $135 M to $1.6 B. Steven is the former Chairman, President & CEO of Prudential HealthCare, Inc. In 2007, he was voted on “The Top Public Company Managed Care CEOs” by Institutional Investor. Finkenberg, M.D, A.A.O.S.: Dr. Finkenberg specializes in Orthopedic and Spine Surgery. He has been recognized for his numerous honors and awards, research grants, extensive publications, and several inventions and patents in the Orthopedics field. Dr. Finkenberg received his M.D. at the University of California Los Angeles. • Leland B. Houseman, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.C.C.: Dr. Housman specializes in Cardiac Surgery and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of California at San Diego Medical School. Throughout his career, Dr. Houseman has been acknowledged with an impressive and extensive list of awards and publications. Dr. Houseman received his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. • Louis J. Levy, M.D., A.A.O.S.: Dr. Levy specializes in Orthopedic Surgery, has held numerous leadership positions, and is a published researcher and clinical investigator. Dr. Levy received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas. • Jeffrey K. Williams, M.D., F.A.C.P.: Dr. Williams specializes in Invasive/Interventional Cardiology and has had a distinguished career in San Diego and as Associate Professor of Medicine at UCSD Hospital/Medical Center.
