With it’s release from Oldtime Productions in early 2010 the film “Love(less)” will make history. Not for inventing a new kind of filming technique or setting box office records, but for breaking racial barriers. With “Love(less)” Karita Fleming will join the ranks of honorable men and women like Hattie McDaniel and Sidney Poitier by becoming the first woman of color to star in a feature-length Science Fiction film.   “Love(less)” follows the star-crossed story of Auburn Denson (Karita Fleming) and Elliot Adams (Ryan Lynch). Played out against the backdrop of Earth's creation and destruction in an increasingly unstable reality, neither of them aware they are pawns in a secret project to reinvent humanity. With a slim cast and an even slimmer budget “Love(Less)” is already being touted as 2010’s “little movie that could” – taking on a truly epic scope and exploring complex issues such as the nature of life, love, and the human experience in its mere 90 minute running time.
