A year ago, if a customer visited the ALW Calendar Company website, the view would have been strikingly different from what one would see today! As the calendar season approaches, an upgraded business website was just the detailed enhancement the ALW Calendar Company needed. The ALW Calendar Company, established in 2008, sets out to be a leading example in researching, retaining, and educating the public on Memphis and Shelby County history. The company’s purpose is to help strengthen the Memphis and Shelby County communities by providing an annual calendar that strives to encourage community and self-pride, historical knowledge, and motivation for positively building on the future. Founded on the historical developments of the late Memphis historical and genealogical guru, Arthur L Webb, the ALW Calendar Company presents the Memphis 2010 Historical Calendar, sponsored by Memphis Light Gas and Water Division. The Memphis 2010 Historical Calendar presents over 150+ years of historical Memphis facts and 12 biographies about pioneer citizens; all in full color.
