BrightHouse, with over 170 stores nationwide, has signed a one-year deal worth over £1.5 million with broadcaster Five, which starts on Monday June 1.
The new sponsorship idents follow the adventures of best mates Mandy and Julie, and reflect the role that Home and Away and products from the BrightHouse range have in their lives.
They will feature on Home and Away’s weekday and early evening broadcasts on Five and digital channel Fiver and as pre-rolls on the catch-up TV service, Demand Five.
The sponsorship will have an added resonance in this, the series’ 21st anniversary year. BrightHouse will feature the programme in an in-store POS campaign.
Home and Away is one of Five’s most popular programmes, reaching 4.7 million people every week and resonating in particular with young women.

The characters of Mandy and Julie generated a huge following when BrightHouse sponsored The Trisha Goddard Show on Five.
Their new storyline, which will unfold over the course of the 12-month campaign, will offer a window into their friendship, sense of fun and outlook on life enhanced as they enjoy products from the BrightHouse range.
The idents will feature sea and sun location shoots abroad, as well as focusing on the developing friendship between Mandy and Julie and their lives at home.
