IBC 2008, Amsterdam – Pixelmetrix, the global expert in Preventive Monitoring for digital television and IPTV networks, announced the launch of its VISUALmpeg Qualify™ video and audio quality analyzer at IBC 2008, Amsterdam, Booth 1C39. The VISUALmpeg Qualify™ is an expansion of Pixelmetrix array of video and audio quality analyzers, offering a new level of off-line quality assessment for audiovisual streams with comprehensive support for most current industry video and audio encoding standards and media containers.  With a new and scalable distributed architecture, the VISUALmpeg Qualify™ allows for parallel test administration and browsing of results.  It provides static file-based video and audio analysis for VOD content. “We constantly drive our product R&D towards solidifying IP Video Delivery.  The increased complexities of advanced encoding, digital delivery and IP transport have come at a time when broadcasters are still coping to assimilate the last technology wave.  Therefore, we developed the VISUALmpeg Qualify™ to provide top-notch video compression analysis so that operators worry less about the techy bits and can get back to the art of TV,” said Danny Wilson, Pixelmetrix President & CEO. Highlights at the booth also include the ready-for-shipment Electronic Couch Potato™ (ECP™), an after the network probe that measures and reports the end user's Quality of Experience (QoE) for delivered video services, DVStation-Mini DVB-T that offers affordable RF and TS measurements and analysis and many more. Pixelmetrix develops a host of IPTV and Preventive Monitoring systems that offer unique attributes and versatility, allowing operators to achieve end-to-end visibility and keep tabs on their network architecture. IBC is held from September 12 to 16 at the RAI Convention Centre, Amsterdam. Note to Editors: To schedule an interview with Danny Wilson, please contact the Marcom team.
