Certified Adult Home Party Association Appoints New Board Members

CAHPA chooses new board members to serve in 2009 to continue their trend of providing ethical business standards and practices to the billion dollar sex toy industry.

The Certified Adult Home Party Association (CAHPA) recently announced the results of their annual Board of Directors election held at their annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV. Rina Valan, Founder and President of Fantasia Home Parties (Kresgeville, PA) was reelected as President for her third consecutive term, joined with Kim Brecheen, President of Slumber Parties for her third term serving as Vice President. “It’s always an honor to continue to work with such great people and home party companies. This year we [my business colleagues, along with our Affiliate members in the manufacturing industry], are really excited about the expansion of the organization, and are looking forward to continuing our pursuit to identify and promote ethical business practices in our industry”, Valan said regarding the addition of new Affiliate members, and expected growth of the organization in the upcoming year. Joining Valan and Brecheen is Wayne Teres, from Temptations Parties serving as Secretary, Chris Griggs, President of Party Gals serving as Board Member At Large, and a position change to Treasurer Bobbi Nolan, President of Pajama Parties. CAHPA was founded to address general industry ethical concerns to large Party Plan companies, and has since expanded to include Customer Service training for field consultants, product consultations for Affiliate members, organization wide buying power and commitments and personalized Affiliate sessions. Serving as ‘seal of approval’ for end consumers to base their purchase and business opportnity decisions on, CAHPA members adhere to strict self-imposed guidelines of ethics and business practices. “Before, customers were shooting in the dark hoping the company they were shopping with and working for was reputable, now they have a resource that does that for them, and provides them confidence when they make choices,” Valan says.
