Marc(05.15.2012 02:1:22): Short but sweet posting Michael. It brigns up the point and downstrem affects of having well communicated values and principles across an organization. We know that every scenario can not be identified in policies and procedures. There must be underlying thoughts, feelings, and motivation for people to want to do the right thing and make judgement calls that are reflective of the underlying values and principles. In the heat of the moment, do we lean towards the money, the accolades, the desire to have people like us, self-interest or towards doing what is right in the face of scrutiny and persecution? Good GRC is about everyone working together to balance risks and rewards with the underlying desire to do the right thing for everyone involved customers, employees, investors, environment.
