North Carolina novelist and blogger Linda Leigh Hargrove offers a series of easy-to-follow tip sheets for the faithful. Her goal? To equip church folks with the tools needed to form world-changing cross-racial/cultural connections in their communities and churches. Hargrove uses experiences gleaned from more than ten years of leading group discussions and facilitating panels on reconciliation and racism in the church.
When asked about her views on racial reconciliation in an online interview with Takiela Bynum of BooksALatte.com, Hargrove shared, “There has to be some active communication. Not just talking at each other but talking to the point that it brings you closer back together into a healthy relationship. It involves trust, being sincere, and being intentional.”
The tips, available for download at LLHargrove.com are free one-page files (in Adobe pdf format). Hargrove, inspired by Jesus's prayer for oneness in John 17, will produce a series of 17 tip sheets.
