For instance, Chinese labs have developed grounded-breaking technologies such as thermo polyesters (PHA) produced through microorganisms. These bioplastic materials, made from renewable resources, could be applied in a variety of applications such as biodegradable packaging, fibers, latex, adhesives. PHA monomers can be pharmaceutical intermediates or even medicines.
