Globalization Of World Has Influenced Journalism



On the opening of 61st Batch of AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television Santosh Bhartiya expressed his views.

Veteran journalist, prolific writer and a former member of parliament Santosh Bhartiya said the next generation journalists will have to acquire a good command over Hindi language to do their work in India notwithstanding the emergence of English as the link language across the globe. He was addressing the students of AAFT  Asian Academy of Film & Television on the inauguration of 61st batch. He further said that Traditional journalism in the fast changing world too has also to appropriately change. Decrying the tendency to sensationalize   the news and Prof. Sandeep Marwah ,President Marwah Studios,said that media must play a meaningful role in building a happy, healthy and balanced Indian society. In his address the renowned Hollywood stunt-actor Colin Handley who has been invited to conduct a workshop, spelled out his recipe for success. Passion, knowledge and skills for the work are required by an aspiring artist to succeed, he added. Tracing his entry into Hollywood the fight choreographer of popular TV serial Baywatch Colin Handley said that he is happy that stunt are increasingly being recognized by the filmmakers and Bollywood too is now producing more and more action films. Member UP Commission for Minorities Sardar Amrit Pal Singh and Member of All India Handloom Board, Ministry of Textile, Govt. of India Yashpal Singh also shared his views with the students
