Chris Angelo Named CEO of Stay Green Inc.

Family-owned Southern California landscaping company promotes founder's son from vice president to CEO.

SANTA CLARITA, CA – Stay Green Inc. announced the promotion today of Chris Angelo from vice president to chief executive officer. Angelo takes over leadership of the family owned company started by his parents Richard and Charlene in 1970. “This is an exciting opportunity to lead our team during one of the most challenging periods facing our industry,” Angelo said. “Together, we will continue to grow the company, and build on the reputation for outstanding service we have established over the last 39 years.” Chris grew up in the business, and for the last eight years has served as Stay Green’s vice president, directing its growth and expansion throughout Southern California. “Our consistent growth in new and existing markets is a testament to Chris’ strategic leadership,” Richard said. “This new role will give him the opportunity to fulfill his vision for our company’s future.” Chris serves on the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He was named the “2009 Rising Star” in the Santa Clarita Valley Business Leadership Awards sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance.
