Charleston, WV - Jackson Kelly PLLC was recently included in the National Law Journal’s 31st annual survey of the nation’s 250 largest law firms in 2008. Due to its continued growth, the Firm has been propelled to #229 on the NLJ 250, making it the largest West Virginia based law firm on the list.
While the National Law Journal reports that the nation’s largest law firms, on average, added only 4.3 percent more attorneys this year, Jackson Kelly grew at a rate of 9 percent. The Firm added 20 new associates in 2008, which was the largest associate class in Jackson Kelly history. In addition, a significant number of experienced attorneys also joined the Firm this year.

The National Law Journal is a periodical founded in 1978 which reports legal information of national importance to attorneys. The NLJ 250 was compiled by the National Law Journal through a survey of approximately 300 of the nation’s largest firms. The survey included attorneys from each of Jackson Kelly’s offices in West Virginia, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.
