Our volunteering program was founded with a simple idea in mind, that volunteering should be affordable and available to everyone.

Valley of Tumaini is a small seed that is planted on this earth, with hopes to grow in to a tree of strength and bear the fruits of hope to the orphaned children of Kenya. I have realized that it takes the whole community to network together for the common goal to make a difference in the life of the next generation. For that reason, I am seeking more dedicated souls who will join with us, who will grow with us, who will talk with us, and who would like to make a difference for orphans in Kenya by volunteering their time at the orphanage. Our volunteering program was founded with a simple idea in mind, that volunteering should be affordable and available to everyone. Our orphanage in Njoro Kenya requires extra pairs of hands to help with the day-to-day running of the project, so you will be expected to assist with Teaching English, play games, play sports, counseling, helping orphanage staff and more. What kind of skills require for this placement: You will need to be flexible, and have patience, compassion and enthusiasm to face the many hurdles and challenges that you will inevitably encounter within your role. To ensure that you get the most out of and contribute fully to your placement, a pro-active attitude is essential. Volunteers at this orphanage must have, above all, a love of children and a commitment to the project. This Program is open to: World Wide Participants. Tumaini Children Welfare Foundation is a child focused charity organization based in Njoro, Nakuru District with a mission to provide education, health care, nutrition, shelter, clothing, love, hope, protection and above all the love of Christ to children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, destitute, displaced and abandoned children in the society. The Home cares for 21 orphans from a rented house in Njoro town.
