This innovative RFID reader/writer delivers increased application flexibility via new features such as support for Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies deployment and reduces cost by eliminating the need for AC outlet installation at read points. The reader/writer overcomes cable loss, enables read zone containment and eliminates stray reads.
This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader/writer, module 236015, is compliant with ISO 18000-6C standard and allows a maximum receive sensitivity of -82dBm and a return loss of up to 10dB. It offers two or four monostatic antenna port configurations which provide added flexibility. The unit automatically senses and configures its setting for the best performance in its environment. Dual image partitioning ensures a smooth transition to new firmware while the unit remains operating. This reader/writer supports industry-leading back-end software such as Microsoft Biztalk , as well as, industry standard application interfaces with support for EPC Global Low Level Reader Protocol (LLRP) v1.0.1. In addition, its compact form factor allows for a wide range of installation options.
