AAFT honoured Dr.Chris Wigginton with life membership of IFTC
Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT welcomed Dr. Chris of Northubria University and disscussed the possibility of joint venture between two institutions.
"Dr Chris Wigginton is Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching in the School of Arts and Social Sciences and is responsible for the development and delivery of its 100 or so academic programmes of Northumbria University,U.K."said Sandeep Marwah while presenting the life membership of IFTC International Film And Television Club of AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.. He is a member of the University Learning and Teaching Committee, Chair of the University Foundation Degree Enhancement Group, Chair of the HEFCC Board and a member of its council, a member of the University Learning and Teaching Subcommittee for UK and International Franchises, a member of the University Research and Teaching task group. He is also Chair of the School of Arts and Social Sciences Learning and Teaching Committee and an external representative on the Learning and Teaching Committee of the Newcastle Business School. "He is also an Associate of Northumbria's Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (Assessment for Learning), and part of the management group of the North East's Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching"added Marwah,President of Marwah Studios.
Previously he was Head of School of Creative Arts and Humanities in the University of Wales, Trinity College, where he was also the institution's Director of Research. His own teaching and research interests are in literature, philosophy, culture and regionalism. He is the author of Modernism and the 1930s (University of Wales Press), editor of The Dylan Thomas: New Casebook and has edited a special edition of the Swansea Review on Dylan Thomas edition. He has also published numerous international journal articles and book chapters.
